Mark Hastings is a marriage and family therapist specializing in anger management, codependency and sex addiction.
With over 30 years experience as a therapist, and as a graduate of San Diego State University, Mark works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his populations of expertise are dads, marriages, and children and adolescents. Mark is licensed in California and utilizes teletherapy on a regular basis. He maintains a private practice in Pasadena, California.
In addition to his work as a relationship therapist, Mark has presented to area churches and schools on a host of topics, as well as serving as a clinical supervisor and consultant to Lake Avenue Church Counseling Center. He also volunteers in mentoring beginning therapists.
Mark is an interactive counselor, never accused of being passive or non-directive with his clients. His therapeutic approach is based on Pia Mellody's work in codependency--helping individuals "get their histories straight." He integrates basic psychotherapeutic interventions with wellness techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and straight talk, Mark does his best for all his clients.
